We are to “PUT ON” it is available, but we have to put it on or utilize it. I think it is very interesting that the phrase “put on” is taken from the Greek word ‘ENDUO’. The word ‘ENDUO’ is frequently used throughout the New Testament. In fact, it is the exact word that Luke used when he recorded Jesus saying, “And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until you be ENDUED with power from on high (Luke 24:49). The word ENDUO refers to the act of putting on a new set of clothes!
