We need to practice walking by faith and not by sight (five physical senses), even when it appears in all natural circumstances to be a futile situation.  Failure comes from not knowing how to apply and stand in the protection of the Word.  It is important to know how to use the shield of faith in order to stop the wiles of the devil.  Remember, it is not the Word that your read but it is the Word that you KNOW that makes us free! Perfect practice makes perfect!

Wonderful time at intercessory prayer last night, thanks so much for you faithful prayer warriors.

John 8:31-32, 17:17 “Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If you continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed, And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.”  If we don’t continue in the Word, the pressures of life will become great, usually resulting in failure.  In Mark chapter 4, the Word talks about those who hear the Word with gladness and receive it.  Then when persecution and affliction come for the Word’s sake they are offended because they have no root in themselves.  They did not take time to meditate the Word.  So when pressure came, instead of standing firm, they fell. But, we don’t have to fall…we stand on the Word of God, because we are WELL ABLE!

Wonder Women meeting tomorrow at 9:30 for a wonderful time together.

Yesterday’s trivia: Darius, Ezra 6:1-12.

Today’s trivia: Who was taken to the highest point of the Jerusalem temple? Hint: Mat. 3-4

SUNDAY IS COMING…CAN I GET A SHOUT?

Galatians 3:11 “………The just shall live by faith.”  Jesus said that the man who hears His words AND does them is one who has built his house on  a solid foundation.  When the floods arise, the man is prepared and cannot be shaken because he his founded on a rock.  The time to act on the Word is not after the flood has it.  The time to act on the Word is now!

WONDER WOMEN today @9:30am.

Yesterday’s trivia: Jesus, Matthew 4:5.

Today’s trivia: What king tricked the followers of Baal by gathering them in Baal’s temple and then slaughtering them?                                Hint: 2nd Kings 9-10.

LOOKING FORWARD TO GATHERING WITH ALL OF YOU TOMORROW, AD WE ARE WELL ABLE!

Galatians 3:11 “….The just shall live by faith.” Do not wait to use faith AFTER sickness, disease and poverty strike.  Begin NOW by meditating the Word so you will be strong in the Lord.  The attacks will still come from the enemy, but YOU WILL BE STRONG.  You will be VICTORIOUS over his attacks.  God would rather His children develop and mature in His Word while everything is going well rather than when the pressure hits.  When your foundation is solid, built on the Word of God, no storm of life will be able to destroy you.  YOU ARE WELL ABLE!

Yesterday’s trivia: Jehu of Israel, 2nd Kings 10:18-27.

Today’s trivia: Who build the first altar? Hint: Genesis 7-8.

I believe they are coming from the North, the South, the East and the West that the house may be full!

Looking forward to a wonderful outpouring of the Holy Spirit today in our midst!

John 15:7 “If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.”  This is not just a once in a while thing, it is a living communion.  By staying in fellowship with the Father you will be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit.  Jesus said that the Spirit of Truth will guide you into all the truth (John 16:13).    You can take control of those things in the spirit before they ever get to you.  Keep the Word before you and take your mind off what you feel, think and see.   Then when the flood comes, your house will be solid and nothing will destroy it because you have made a QUALITY DECISION to stand on God’s Word. When your foundation is solid, built on the Word of God, no storm of life will be able to destroy you.

Yesterday’s trivia: Noah, Genesis 8:20.

Today’s trivia: What military leader was killed while holding on to the horns of the altar? Hint: 1st Kings 1-3.

Hebrews 4:14 “Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens.  Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.”  Fear activates satan the way that faith activates God!

Romans 4:16 “Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all.”  Abraham is the Father of Faith in the Word of God.  He laid hold of the promises of God.  He believed them with all his heart.  He believed them and acted upon them and received the desired results.  When we see someone who has success in an area, it might be a good idea for us to pay attention to what they did so we can get the successful results that they did.  For instance, if you need marriage counseling I don’t believe it is a good idea to go to someone who has been divorced seven times.  No, look for someone who has had a successful marriage and see how they did it.  So, I want to ask you a question today, what do you believe are the TWO MOST IMPORTANT SCRIPTURES IN THE WORD OF GOD? (my answer tomorrow)

Praise team practice tonight at 5:00pm.

WARFARE ON WEDNESDAY TONIGHT AT 7:00PM PULLING DOWN STRONGHOLDS.

Genesis 1-2, 5, 7-10, 15-16, 19 “And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty god; walk before me and be thou perfect (blameless). And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly. Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.  And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an EVERLASTING COVENANT, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.  And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.  And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and THY SEED AFTER THEE  in their generations.  This is the covenant which ye shall keep, between me and you AND THY SEED AFTER THEE; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.  And God said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be.  And I will bless her, and give thee a son also of her; yea, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her.  And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac; and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.” (emphasis mine) The covenant (agreement) was the basis for Abraham’s faith.  The Almighty God, Who cannot lie and it is impossible for Him to lie (Titus 1:2, Hebrews 6:1`8 which I believe are the two most important Scriptures in the Word), mad a covenant with a man who only had to do what He asked him to do and He would bless and prosper him mightily. In Galatians 3:16 and verse 29, the Word declares that if you are in Christ Jesus, then the promise made to Abraham is yours! SHOUT AMEN SOMEBODY!

Today, there are still tribes that make covenants with each other in other parts of the world.  The covenants are for various purposes, of course, and the covenant is only as good as the tribe’s word.  In times past if one tribe member broke their word the other tribe would literally hunt them down and kill them.  Covenants were a very serious thing.  People are only as good as their words.  If their word is not good, they can’t be trusted.  If we are not in the habit of keeping our words, then it is almost impossible to trust God and His Word. Can I get an ‘oh-me?’

Yesterday’s trivia: Moses, Exodus 17:15.

Today’s trivia: What kind of stone was, according to the Law, not supposed to be used in making an altar? Hint: Ex. 18-20.

Proverbs 25:19 “Confidence is an unfaithful man in time of trouble is like a broken tooth, and a foot out of joint.”

Have you ever tried to eat with a bad tooth or walk on a broken foot?  IT HURTS!!!!  So will trying to depend on an unfaithful man.  God NEVER, NEVER, NEVER breaks one of His Words.  God is faithful to His Word.  If He ever broke His Word (Covenant) He would have to destroy Himself (remember, He said that He swore by Himself). EVERYTHING would become non-existent.  But thank God HE WILL NEVER BREAK HIS WORD..not even to man.  It is impossible for God to lie…He won’t do it….GOD IS FAITHFUL!  We need to get that fixed in our hearts! And practice keeping our words.

ARE YOU GETTING READY FOR SUNDAY?
