Mark 10:46-52 “And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging.  And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me.  And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me.  And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called.  And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee.  And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus.  And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee?–The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight.  And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole.  And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.”

I believe that God is looking for UNASHAMED FAITH….the kind of faith that says “I don’t care what anyone says, I am going to receive my miracle from Jesus.”  Bartimaeus “cast away his garment” in those days, your garment designated how you made a living, by casting away his garment, he was in essence acting on the fact that he was not going to be a beggar any longer!  CAN I GET AN AMEN?

Mark 5:22-42 ” And, behold, there cometh one of the rulers of ths synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw him, he fell at his feet.   And besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death:  I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live.  And Jesus went with him…There cam from the ruler of the synagogue’s house certain which said, Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Master any further?  As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe….And he cometh to the house of the ruler of synagogue, and seeth the tumult, and them that wept and wailed greatly.  And when he was come in, he saith unto them, Why make ye this ado, and weep?   the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth.  And he took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha cumi: which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise.  And straightway the damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And thy were astonished with a great astonishment.”

Yesterday we talked about “unashamed faith,” today in this Scripture story, I want you to notice that Jairus had “UNSHAKABLE FAITH!” Jairus (a religious man) had run out of options and went to Jesus seeking a miracle to heal his daughter.  Religion couldn’t get it done, but HE HAD HEARD OF THE WORD: JESUS! And believed what THE WORD said rather than opinions of others.  DO WE HAVE UNASHAMED, UNSHAKABLE FAITH or is our day to day lifestyle full of compromises?  Think about it!

I have mentioned “unashamed faith,” “unshakable faith,” today I want to share some things about “RHEMA FAITH.”  One of the greatest blessings of being born-again is that we now have access to God, even the “deep” things of God.  We move from the realm of information and head knowledge into the realm of REVELATION! 

As you know, faith comes by hearing and hearing and hearing adinfinitum.  Faith does NOT COME BY spiritual disciplines of prayer and fasting which are important.

The Word is primarily translated two words: “Logos” and “Rhema.”  Logos is the written Word that is understood by reasoning or mental faculties.  RHEMA means that spoken word that is revealed by the Holy Spirit to your spirit and spiritually understood;  It brings englightenment or light.  I am sure that many times you have been just reading along in the Word of God, and all of a sudden a Scripture comes alive…jumps off the page…..you see what you did not see before!

Mark 11:23 “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shal come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” 

We HAVE WHAT WE SAY BE WE GET WHAT WE SEE!  Whatever we see we automatically believe and become.  This is why one person said: “Revelation is the greatest asset in the school of faith.”  When you see with your spiritual eyes, you will not doubt it!  SOMEONE SHOUT AMEN!

Reminder, only what you see becomes yours, because whatever you see automatically believe and become! 

Psalm 119:28 “Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.”                                       Luke 24:45 “Then opened he (Jesus) their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures.”

The example of Simon Peter and Jesus in Luke 5 is and example of BOTH the “logos” and “rhema.”

Luke 5:1-3 “And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret, And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets. And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon’s, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land.  And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship.”

But, in verses 4 and 5, Simon responds to the logos (taught Word) with rhema faith:

Luke 5:4-5; “Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.  And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy WORD I WILL let down the net.” (emphasis mine)

What was the result? PETER CAUGHT A BOAT-SINKING LOAD OF FISH! (in spite of circumstances)

2nd Chronicles 16:9 “For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him………”

Smith Wigglesworth said that he believes that God will pass over a thousand people to get to the one who is in faith.  God is looking for the kind of faith that caused Jesus to bypass all the sick people at the pool of Bethesda and focus on him. 

Praise the Lord for the wonderful turnout last night at prayer….strongholds are continually being brought down…we are binding the “strongman” in Jesus Name!

The God Kind of Faith will drive whatever is not of God right out of your life.  This is the same faith God released to create the world.  Once it is released out of the heart of the believer (that’s you and me), it goes to work making good whatever God has promised.  And remember, the TWO MOST IMPORTANT SCRIPTURES IN THE WORD OF GOD:

Hebrews 6:18 , Titus 1:2:“That by two immutable things (the body and the blood), in which it was IMPOSSIBLE for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation,……….In hope of eternal life, which God, THAT CANNOT LIE, promised before the world began;” (emphasis’ mine)

Since you have the Love of God in you as a new creation in Christ Jesus, YOU CAN ALWAYS WIN BECAUSE LOVE NEVER FAILS!  Therefore, as long as we operate FIRST in the LOVE OF GOD, we will ALWAYS WIN!

Mark 4:26-29 “And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how.  For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.  But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.” 

Here are some SIMPLE STEPS according to above Scripture to DEVELOP and OPERATE in the REAL or GOD KIND OF FAITH.  CONSISTENCY IS THE KEY!

1. Determine what you want.  God give us the desires of our heart. 

2.Identify the scriptures (promises) from the Word that speak directly to your situation.

3.Begin to call what you want.  Meditate God’s promises.  By doing this you are establishing in your HEART the  things God has promised. Make sure you SAY IT LIKE GOD SAID IT! 

4. Become FULLY PERSUADED like Abraham who believed “what he (GOD) had promised, he was able also to perform. 

5. ACT ON THE WORD which releases the FORCE OF FAITH and you will supernaturally have what you say!

Remember, faith SEES what hasn’t been manifested in the natural yet.  It deals with what EXISTS but is invisible.  The minute you manifest something it no longer requires faith.  Faith is believing, conceiving and releasing (or speaking) until you manifest your desire!

Matthew 12:37 “For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.”  Words are CONTAINERS. They CARRY POWER!  Adam was given total authority to rule  over every living creature on earth.  When Adam sinned, he gave his authority over to Satan, who became the “god” (small “g”) of this world. (2nd Cor. 4:4).  God needed someone to do His Will in the earth, so He made a covenant with Abram (changed his name to Abraham), This covenant gave God LEGAL ENTRY into the earth.  It was to Abraham and his seed as well as the seed after him.  God continued to release His Word through His covenant and JESUS CAME INTO THE EARTH! 

God releases His faith with His Words.  the Words He speaks are alive and full of power.  they are active today because they are eternal, settled in heaven forever (Psalm 119:89).  The Word was given to the prophets to make the people free.  The word was given to Moses to release Israel from bondage. The WORD WAS MADE FLESH TO MAKE MANKIND FREE.  

John 8:32 “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”  The WORD IS TRUTH, and the WORD THAT YOU KNOW (not just read) WILL MAKE YOU FREE!

Proverbs 3:5 “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”  The Holy Spirit will perform the faith-filled words that are spoken from the mouth of the believer.  The words must be according to God’s Word.  We can TRUST God because He is eternally truth.  The words we speak will produce just as if God spoke them Himself because His Word has integrity.  You can be sure of it.  God released His faith through His Word and you release your faith in the same way…by speaking God’s Word.  Your words are powerful containers.  Choose to speak God’s Word and you can change your circumstances and even change the world. Can I get and Amen?

Aren’t you glad we are learning that we don’t have to be under Generational Curses any longer?  Because you are WELL ABLE to conquer them in Jesus Name!

Think about it, God and His Word are ONE, they cannot be separated.  His Word is His Bond…He cannot and it is impossible for Him to lie.  EVERYTHING was created by the WORD OF GOD.  God released His faith in His Words (Hebrews 11:3).  We as believers are empowered to release our faith with the words of our mouths.  Words are CONTAINERS (Matthew 12:37). They can justify or condemn.  They are carriers of spiritual power, activating the forces of God or the forces of the enemy. We have the ability to choose our words…..either life or death….we need to choose life that we and our seed will prosper!

John 1:14  “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” The Word which is spirit is still being manifested in the natural today….JESUS IS THE WORD OF GOD!
