As you know, Adam committed treason giving his authority over to satan, as an action of his free will. Adam was the first man ever to be born-again from LIFE to DEATH. The very nature of satan was lodged in his spirit. In Luke 4:6-7, Jesus was tempted by satan. satan said that he would give Jesus all power or authority if He would worship him…it must have been the enemies power to give or it would not have been a temptation.

Because of what Jesus did, our confession is one of authority or humility. The born-again believer has been made a new creation in Christ Jesus. He is not SELF-RIGHTEOUS but the righteousness of God in Christ. Man has brought into existence equipped with the same authority that God used in creating him. He gave a covenant to man, delegating that authority to him. (Now we know why the world is in such a mess)

When God created man, He spoke words and brought him into existence the same way He spoke words and brought this planet into existence. Whenever God speaks, the Holy Spirit takes the substance of faith and brings those words into existence. When we speak the Words of God, the Spirit of God will move because that same authority is in you. What Jesus’s death, burial and resurrection did in us when we were born again is GREATER than what satan did in Adam. Death has been swallowed up in LIFE (Zoe)!

Matthew 28:18-19, “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying. All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. God ye therefore…..” God has invested authority (the right to use power) in the Body of Christ (that’s you and me). The authority of the Lord Jesus Christ has been invested in the Body of Christ to OPERATE HERE in the earth. Man has been given the authority to choose and speak words at his own will. Authority is communicated by words. God created everything that can be seen with words. What do words do? THEY PAINT PICTURES…..what kind of pictures are you painting on your spiritual canvas?

God creates with His Word. Words paint pictures. When God releases His faith, the words He speaks come to pass. He knows how to use words to their fullest extent and power. In Genesis 1:3, God said, “Let there be light,” and there was. He took words, filled with power, and spoke a universe into existence. The Holy Spirit uses the substance of faith in the words to cause the desired result to come into physical manifestation.

Hebrews 11:3, “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.” So the things which are seen or perceived by the senses were made out of something that CANNOT BE PERCEIVED by the senses. The worlds were not made of NOTHING, they were made of SOMETHING that cannot be perceived by our natural senses, and that “thing” is called FAITH! Faith is the PARENT force to everything on this planet.

Jesus was tempted/tested/tried in ALL points just like we are, so how did He walk in a constancy of victory? #1. He spent MUCH TIME in prayer, but He never PRAYED THE PROBLEM….He PRAYED THE ANSWER…which is what does God say about it. #2. He spoke accurate, never crooked speech. His conversation ALWAYS consisted of what God said. #3. He always spoke the END RESULTS, not the problem. He spoke the DESIRED RESULTS. #4. He used the WRITTEN Word to defeat satan. Well, if it was good enough for Jesus it ought to be good enough for us.

Yesterday, we saw in Hebrews 11 that God created the universe through FAITH (His Word), and that it was IMPOSSIBLE (not difficult) to please God without faith. So, the more we live, walk and operated by the faith of God, the more we please God. Have you ever wondered why without faith it is IMPOSSIBLE to please God? I believe that God has given the believer His faith, knowing that His faith will cause us to be victorious in every area of our life. When we don’t use that faith in our lives, it displeases God because He wants us to be victorious in all areas. It is like if you as a parent bought your child a car and gave them the keys and they just let it sit in the driveway and look at it, not benefiting from the gift.

Hebrews 11:1, “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.” Think about it, God operates by faith. He doesn’t do anything apart from faith. We as children of God are supposed to “imitate” God, therefore we need to operate/live by faith. Let me remind you of Hebrews 11:6, “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

You are an heir of God–joint-heirs with Christ! You can joyfully confess your relationship with God. You are born of God. A child of God. He is your very own Father. You are His very own child. You need to take your place as sons and daughters of God and confess that’s who you are!
