There are three things in the Old Testament that many times go together: 1. Wisdom, 2. Knowledge, and 3. Understanding. In Proverbs 2:6, they are listed together: “For the Lord giveth WISDOM: out of his mouth cometh KNOWLEDGE and UNDERSTANDING.” (emphasis mine). These tree things work together: KNOWLEDGE is the parts; UNDERSTANDING is the assembling of those parts. WISDOM is the product or the result of those assembled parts.

Praise the Lord what a great time we had together at our annual “Fall Festival.” Great food, fellowship, games , singing and several young people came forward to receive Jesus. It doesn’t get any better than that…THANK YOU HOLY SPIRIT! Also, as always it wouldn’t have come together without all of you faithful, loving and energetic workers….without you, things like this don’t happen. TODAY IS SONDAY! ATMOSPHERE FOR THE HOLY SPIRIT!

According to Romans 8:37, we have been MADE MORE THAN A CONQUEROR! As we begin to confess it, believe it, sooner or later it will begin to manifest. You will not be afraid of any circumstances, if you make the right confession. You will not be afraid of any disease, if you make the right confession. You will not be afraid on any conditions, if you make the right confession. You will face life FEARLESSLY, AS A CONQUEROR!

Romans 8:37, “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.” If the Word had just told us we were conquerors, it would have been enough, but it tells us that we are MORE THAN CONQUERORS through Jesus Christ. Rather than saying “I’m defeated,” rise up and say what the Word says about you. Say, “I am a conqueror, because of Jesus He has made me MORE THAN A CONQUEROR. At that moment it may not seem to you that you are a conqueror, but you saying what God says in His Word will create the reality of it in your life.

Lake told the doctors to conduct an experiment. “Take some of the foam that comes from the victims’ lungs after death and examine it under the microscope. You will find the masses of living germs remain alive for a while after a man is dead. Fill my hand with the foam and examine it under the microscope. Instead of remaining alive, the germs will die instantly.” The doctors made the experiment and what Lake said proved true. When the doctors expressed wonder at what caused it, Lake told them, “That is the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus.” (God is not a respecter of persons, but he is a respecter of faith)

The doctors asked John G. Lake, “What have you been using to protect yourself?” Lake replied, “I believe the law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and death. And as long as I walk in the light of the law of life, no germ will attach itself to me.” The doctors told him, “You had better use our preventatives.” “No.” Lake said and then had them conduct an experiment. Romans 8:2, “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.” A LAW is something that will give you the same results every time if it is applied the same way. Dr. John G. Lake went as a missionary to Africa in 1908. The deadly bubonic plague broke out in his area. Hundreds died. He cared for the sick and buried the dead. Isaiah 53:5, “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” Isaiah 53 gives us a graphic picture of the coming Messiah. This chapter deals with the disease problem which confronts the Church today, as well as the sin problem. God deals with man’s body, as well as with his spirit and soul. God laid our iniquities and our sins upon Jesus…and JESUS BORE THEM! God laid our disease and sicknesses on Jesus…and JESUS BORE THEM SO WE MIGHT BE FREE! If He bore them, it is not God’s will that we bear them too!

Psalm 103:3, “Who forgiveth all thine iniquities, who healeth all thy diseases.” Disease came upon the children of Israel when they disobeyed the law. Forgiveness for their disobedience meant the healing of their diseases. It was when the children of Israel took themselves out from under the protection of their covenant by wrongdoing that their distresses came. Think about it, if it is raining and you get out from under your umbrella what is going to happen to you until you get back under your umbrella?
