John 20:24-29 “But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.  The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord.  But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.  And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.  Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.  And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.  Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thous hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. 

Abraham’s faith says we have it before we see it (in the natural sense) because God’e Word is true NO MATTER WHAT!  We need to believe it will be as God has said (Acts 27:25).  Circumstances should not dictate our lives…..Environment should not dictate our lives….People should not dictate our lives.  THE WORD OF GOD SHOULD DICTATE OUR LIVES!  The Word should be the FINAL AUTHORITY in our lives. Our bills are paid, we are healed by the stripes of Jesus….it will be as God has said!  That is the Abraham Faith!  Believing what God says no matter what.  On the other hand the Thomas faith (continued tomorrow).

Continuing on from yesterday, the Thomas kind of faith says things like: I’ll believe it when I see it.  It doesn’t look like those bills are ever going to get paid.  Keep on and we’ll lose our house and car.  We won’t have money for groceries or anything else.  We’ll wind up under a bridge.  I sure hope God can do something.  We sure could use the help!  So, I am here to HELP YOU.  God unfortunately can do very little for you because GOD WORKS THROUGH FAITH!  And if you are in the example of the Thomas kind of faith examples……you don’t have any faith working!  This can be proven by Matthew 12:34: “For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.”  Faith is of the heart, and what is in there in abundance will manifest in your speaking.  That is why the enemy wants us to look at the natural circumstances and continue to talk about the negatives in them to stop our GOD KIND OF FAITH working in our lives.  The Thomas kind of faith is what the devil uses to steal, kill and destroy.  ABRAHAM’S FAITH IS THE FAITH GOD CAN USE TO GIVE US LIFE AND GIVE IT TO US MORE ABUNDANTLY! Remember the four principles of Abraham faith: 1. Abraham had the promise of God regarding the matter.  2. He believed the promise through his words and actions.  3.He did not consider the problem.  4. He gave glory to God before he saw the answer (in the natural).  Let’s be believing Abrahams and not doubting Thomases.  Let’s. meditate on the promises not the problems. BECAUSE: YOU ARE WELL ABLE IN JESUS NAME!

There are so many people who sincerely believe that they live by faith, but in reality, I am sad to say that if you sit down with a lot of them, and listen to them for awhile, you would recognize that they “think” they are in faith, but in reality aren’t.  I never want to discourage anyone who is trying to truly live by the Faith of God in their lives, but we need to get fixed in our heats what REAL BIBLE FAITH IS….and once we get an understanding, we will be able to TRULY BE PLEASING TO GOD BY LIVING BY FAITH AND NOT BY SIGHT! So, with that in mind let’s look at what the BIBLE DEFINITION OF FAITH IS:                Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Somebody said that “faith is the stuff that stuff is made of.”  Faith gives us the confident assurance of that for which we hope and is the proof of the reality of the things we do not see.  In other words, faith brings the unrealities of hope into the realm of reality. Will pick this up tomorrow. 

God keeps speaking to our WARFARE ON WEDNESDAY GROUP, to continue to stand and stay strong IN HIM!

Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”  Faith gives SUBSTANCE to hope.  It is the EVIDENCE of the UNSEEN.  It is a firm persuasion.  A conviction based upon hearing.  Faith comes by hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17).  God’s Word is the basis for faith.  Faith says: “I have it now!”  Hope says: “I’ll have it someday.”  Faith is for today, hope is for tomorrow or sometime in the future.  Faith receives Jesus Christ as their Savior NOW!  Someone who is hoping for salvation never gets saved.  When did you get saved? We’ll look at that tomorrow. 

They are coming form the North, the South the East and the West that the house may be full, thanks so much to you wonderful believing saints of God for setting the Atmosphere for the Holy Spirit to move and manifest His Presence in our midst as He watches over His Word to perform it.

Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”   Yesterday I left off leaving you with a question:  “when did you get saved?”  The answer that will more than likely come to mind is a particular date such as “I got saved at 1st Church on June 19, 1999.”  But, even though that may be true, the TRUTH OF THE MATTER IS THAT YOU ACTUALLY GOT SAVED OVER 2,000 YEARS AGO BUT YOU BELIEVED AND RECEIVED IT JUNE 19TH!  We have tendencies to have our understanding in the natural sense, that is why we have to get our “minds renewed” with the Word of God.  As we do this, our thinking will begin to think like God does…for instance, EVERYTHING THAT PERTAINS TO OUR LIVES, WAS BOUGHT AND PAID FOR OVER 2,000 YEARS AGO IN THE DEATH, BURIAL AND RESURRECTION OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST!  The price has already been paid!  Healing and prosperity and peace are not promises, THEY ARE A FACT!  The Blessings of God ALREADY BELONG TO YOU NOW! RIGHT NOW! FAITH SAYS “I HAVE IT NOW!”  Because NOW FAITH IS!  Can I get an Amen?

Isn’t it wonderful that you are being changed from GLORY TO GLORY into the image of God’s dear Son?  That is why:                               YOU ARE WELL ABLE TO ACCOMPLISH ALL THAT GOD HAS CALLED YOU TO DO!

Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for (faith is) the evidence of things not seen (or perceived by the senses).”  (inserts mine) Words paint pictures in our minds, each promise of God is a picture of the desired result.  Many people still order out of catalogs or internet today, They order blouses, shirts, skirts, shoes gifts etc.  The Bible is our SPIRITUAL CATALOG of what is in HEAVEN’S STORE.  Get out the catalog….the Word of God..find whatever it is that you are desiring ……place your’ order….(ask God for it)…then believe the item you ordered is on its way. Even in the natural sense,  multiplied millions of people daily (I’m in that bunch) trust the supplier is going to ship the order to us.  We need to begin to put or trust in God the Father to send the promise to us.  Get in faith and STAY IN FAITH…do not be distracted…focus on the order…THE SUPPLIER HAS SENT THE PACKAGE!  The enemy will do everything he can to deter you from believing the promise is “in the mail,” but don’t let him do it, continue to believe and praise God that the angels of God are delivering it.

When we first begin to walk in the principles of faith, our “thinker, willer and doers” may have some problems “kicking-in.”  Keep meditating on the promise, say it, think it and practice it until the Word begins to bring you a “picture” of the answer.  When that happens, nothing can sway you from your faith and receiving the promise.  GOD WILL DO IT! The thing that speaking the promise over and over,  releases “substance” in that promise.  Keep on saying it until you are FULLY PERSUADED like Abraham was. Remember, Jesus said “speak TO the mountain,” NOT speak ABOUT the mountain.

Thanks for wonderful intercessors last night, what a BLESSING YOU ARE!

What a blessing it is for me to see “grasshoppers” turn into GIANT KILLERS….YOU ARE WELL ABLE!

God need us to be “fully persuaded” so that He can bring the desires of our hearts to pass.  Every time we quote a promise, we strengthen our faith.  When we engage in doubt and negative speaking, we our strengthening our fears, which is in practicality is taking sides against our own faith. It’s like going to the gas station, filling up with gas and then punching holes in our gas tank. We are defeating ourselves.  We lose!  Quote the promises, learn them by ‘HEART’ NOT FROM MEMORY! Be consistent, stay in faith the promise will manifest itself.  It is worth it, and next time it will be easier and easier and easier….remember, be sure to do what you know to do according to the Word, and God will do what He knows to do!  Isn’t it wonderful to know that you are PLEASING GOD? Shout AMEN somebody!

Did you know that through faith AND patience you inherit the promises?  That is why YOU ARE WELL ABLE!

John 4:24 “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”                               1st Thessalonians 5:23 “……………and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless….”  John 6:63  “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh prfiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you they are spirit, and they are life.” 

Notice some things, God is A Spirit (then there must be other spirits), You are A spirit, and God’s Word is Spirit! We sometimes use religious terms, and don’t really give much thought to what we are saying; for instance “25 souls got saved last night at Church.”  I know what someone is saying when they say that, they are referring to someone receiving Jesus as their Savior.  But BIBLICALLY that isn’t correct.  Look at what James the half-brother of Jesus says:                            James 1:21 “Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.”  When we get born-again, our SPIRITS (the inner man, the real you) gets saved (2nd Corinthians 5:17).  Then we are supposed to renew our minds (souls) with the Word of God which is a process AFTER the New Birth.  The more we renew our minds with the Word of God, we begin to think and act like our Heavenly Father. Faith is not of the mind, faith is of the heart, the inner man.
