How did the mother in Mark 7 access God’s wisdom? Faith! Every answer was here before the problem…before the foundation of the world, the Word existed….God through His Grace, Mercy and Wisdom created the answer to every problem and need before the problem or need came into existence. Are you getting this?

This woman in Mark 7 was a Greek, not a jew, and was OUTSIDE the covenant. It was not yet TIME to receive “the children’s bread.” Remember, Romans 1:16 says that the Word of God came to the Jew FIRST, then to the Greek. It was not her time. But by faith, she accessed the wisdom of God and broke through the time barrier to receive her answer. What was the result? Her daughter was delivered.

The woman replied to Jesus in Mark 7:28-30, “…..Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children’s crumbs. and he said unto her, For this saying go thy way’ the devil is gone out of thy daughter. and when she was come to her house, she found the devil gone out, and her daughter laid upon the bed.” Her daughter was healed! What did she grab a hold of and access? She accessed a Word that Jesus COULD NOT RESIST! Jesus told her that the devil is gone out of thy daughter.

Another example of someone who accessed the wisdom of God was the Greek (Syrophoenician Gentile) woman found in Mark chapter7, in verses 24-27 a CERTAN woman had a daughter who needed deliverance. She approached Jesus and was likened unto a dog, which was a Jewish expression for the Gentiles of the day. What we need to REALLY PAY ATTENTON TO IS: THE WOMAN DID NOT GET OFFENDED! When you are offended you cannot operate in real faith, which is needed for anyone to receive God’s wisdom. I personally believe that when a person is truly walking in the God-kind-of-faith you cannot offend them.

Well here it is the day after the election…some happy, some mad, and some REALLY MAD! Question, how much will we care 100 years from now? Sometimes, we all have a tendency to allow our flesh to overrule our new created spirits, and the end result isn’t probably the optimum that we would like to see. Through the years I have learned a few things, LIFE ISN’T FAIR, and there isn’t much I can do about the yesterdays. So…the BEST thing for me is to develop more and more in how to walk and life in the spirit, by the Word of God because that is what is really important in eternity isn’t it?

Think about it, a person can be 12 years old and receive and function in the wisdom of God and astound adults. Just because a person is old in age and gray-headed does not mean they have wisdom. It is the Holy Spirit that imparts wisdom. Job 32:9, “Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.” Job 32:8, “But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.”

Even as a 12 year old child, Jesus had wisdom that astounded the people in the temple. Remember, He wasn’t functioning as God but as a BORN ON THIS EARTH MAN. We read in 1 Corinthians 2:11-12, “For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even as the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirt of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.”

Today’s trivia: As the Israelites where marching, which animal approached them and had a discussion?

The more we get to KNOW God, we begin to realize that there are not enough words to describe His Majesty, His Greatness, His Love, His Mercy and Grace…and He wants to Bless us more and more…the Word says that His Mind is full of us! WOW…SOMEBODY SHOUT AMEN!

1 Corinthians 2:9-10, “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit; for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.” I have heard this Scripture Vs. 9, quoted in the context of negativity. But, look at vs. 10, BUT GOD HATH REVEALED! God is not holding His wisdom back from us, we just need to train ourselves in how to listen, then OBEY!

In John 9:5, Jesus said, “As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” He took personal responsibility for the darkness in the earth. He went on to say in another Gospel, “Ye are the light of the world.” (Matthew 5:14, speaking to His disciples AND US! Christianity was NEVER meant to be dictated but to be DEMONSTRATED. The world should look to god’s people, who have God’s wisdom, for an example and for leadership.

More than ever, we need the wisdom of God on how to raise our children. How many parents are a their wits end as to what to do in raising their teenager, or younger kids for that matter? We are living in a time when the world is drifting further away from the wisdom of God, (I am sad to say it looks like the Church is too) and we are seeing the results of unwise living with increased poverty, diseases, divorces, broken families, and the creation of ungodly laws.
