The first way to get the Wisdom of God is through Biblical meditation. The second way is found in James 1:5, “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.” In every situation where God’s Wisdom is used, a supernatural solution was found or a godly decision was made. In 2nd Chronicles, chapter 1, Solomon is taking rule over his father David’s kingdom. He had some pretty big shoes to fill and you can find out by reading verses 7-12. God answers Solomon, saying all the riches, wealth and honor will come to him ALONG WITH WISDOM!

Biblical meditation is a way to transform our thinking, so we can think on a higher level…in other words begin to think like God thinks. God may show us something that at the time may seem to be too big for us to accomplish, but as we continue to meditate on the Word, God will give us the wisdom to accomplish what He has shown us.

Psalm 77:12, NASB, “I will meditate on all Your work And muse on [chew on] Your deeds.” Whenever re read in Scripture, “I will,” it means that you have the decision to make. The choice is yours. the Scriptures advises us to always choose the Word of God and believe only what it says. Biblical meditation will help renew our minds and expand our capacity to receive.

David writes, “I call to remembrance my song in the night: I commune (meditate) with mine own heart: and my spirit made diligent search:” (Psalm 77:6). “Mine eyes prevent the night watches that I might meditate in thy word: (Psalm 119:148). For David, meditation was a time of fellowship with the Lord, a time of worship and praise, which draws the presence of God. When we meditate, our heart (spirit) makes a diligent search, reaching for answers or making new discoveries in God’s Word.

Isaac went out to meditate just before dusk. This was probably a custom that was handed down from his father Abraham. “And Isaac went out to meditate in the field at eventide…” (Genesis 24:63). Why did he do it? Because meditation gave him the wisdom of God for every situation.

Yesterday’s trivia; “Easter” does NOT appear in the Old Testament and once in the King James Bible which was poorly translated…should have been “Passover!” (Acts 12:4)

Biblical meditation was the key to Joshua’s success, and it was something Israel was COMMANDED to do while they worked during the day in the quiet hours of the night. God COMMANDED it throughout the history of His people. In Genesis 15:5, Abraham meditated on the stars that God showed him…. “……Look toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them and he said unto him, so shall thy seed be.”

The Wisdom of God is available for any challenge, problem, or task that we may encounter in our ministry, business or home. There are several ways that we can access God’s Wisdom. In the Old Testament, when God turned over the leadership of the children of Israel to Moses’ protege Joshua, God instructed Joshua on the KEY INGREDIENT for his success: Joshua 1:8, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein; for then thou shall make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Amplified Bible: “YOU SHALL DEAL WISELY AND HAVE GOOD SUCCESS.”

Think about it, God chose you and me BEFORE the foundation of the world, and saw us as blessed with all spiritual blessings (which can become flesh, John 1:14) before the foundation of the world! Ephesians 1:3-4, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love.”

Today is Veterans Day, honoring veterans of the armed forces and those killed in the country’s wars. The observance originated in 1919 on the first anniversary of the 1918 armistice that ended World War 1 and was known as Armistice Day.

Thanks to all of you for the wonderful time we had at Jubilee yesterday…special thanks to our “praise and worship team” who manifest their love and appreciation for all that God has done for us, and helping lead the congregation to a place of His Presence.

How did the mother in Mark 7 access God’s wisdom? Faith! Every answer was here before the problem…before the foundation of the world, the Word existed….God through His Grace, Mercy and Wisdom created the answer to every problem and need before the problem or need came into existence. Are you getting this?
