The night Jesus was born, the shepherds in Luke 2:8 tells us they were literally CONSTANTLY GUARDING or CONSTANTLY WATCHING. They were very serious about their assignment. Luke 2:9, “And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.” The shepherds were not expecting an angelic encounter. They were completely amazed and shocked at what was taking place. Then the Word says “………..the angel of the Lord came upon them…..” the word “lo” and the phrase “came upon” in the Greek communicate TOTAL SHOCK, BEWILDERMENT, and ASTONISHMENT.

FUN FACTS ABOUT CHRISTMAS SONGS: “LET IT SNOW,” is one of the absolute favorite Christmas songs. However, it is not about Christmas at all! If you go back and look at the lyrics, there is no mention of the holiday. The song is simply about a snowstorm and staying comfy cozy in the house.

Kathy and I DECREE YOU BLESSED IN JESUS NAME!
