Ephesians 6:10 is NOT talking about being strong in OURSELVES. People do their best a lot of times to be strong in themselves. They may say something like, “Oh pray for me that I’ll hold out faithful to the end.” But God DIDN’T say a word about being strong in ourselves or in the power of our might. When the policeman directing steps out in front of the cars and holds up his hand he believes that they are going to stop for him. It is not HIS STRENGTH but the AUTHORITY that has been given to him.
