RE: Romans 4:17-21, The third thing Abraham did to obtain the promise made to him was: #3. He did not consider the problem. (verse 19). Abraham went on and TALKED THE PROMISE. By doing this he became “fully persuaded” that what God has promised he was able also to perform. #4. He gave glory to God even before he saw the answer. (Verse 20). Abraham was so convinced in his heart about the promise, he gave God praise and thanksgiving long before he saw the manifestation.
