We need to make an absolute, unconditional break with our old life. So, the Bible says, we must confess Jesus Christ as LORD! He is the new Ruler of our intellectual life as well as our heart, our spiritual life. Too many people want to have Jesus as SAVIOR, (fire-insurance) but not having him as LORD! We can’t have it BOTH WAYS! JESUS NEEDS TO BE NOT ONLY SAVIOR, BUT ALSO LORD!
