Romans 8:2, We are FREE from the law of sin and death, but the world system isn’t and if we don’t stand against it, we can succumb to it. Many folks can quote the Scripture, “resist the devil and he will flee from you.” The problem is, that they only quote PART of the Scripture which is the reason it isn’t working for them. The FIRST PART of that Scripture is ‘SUBMIT YOURSELVES TO GOD’ RESIST THE DEVIL……..” We need to submit, be obedient to the Word of God THEN we can resist the devil successfully.
