John 17:5 “I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thous shouldest keep them from the evil.” Jesus was praying for His followers to be able to live in the world and yet not be affected by its evil. Jesus lived in the earth and He lived above the evil influences. In verse 18 “As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.” The believer is to do the same things as Jesus. As God sent Him, He sent the believer. The same weapons God gave Jesus to carry out the responsibility, He has given to His new creations, the Church, the BODY OF CHRIST! God is a just God and He would not have given this responsibility without power to pull down strongholds.
