John 8:31-32 “…….If ye CONTINUE in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed: And ye shall KNOW the truth. and truth shall make you free.” (emphasis mine). To continue is a day by day lifestyle…not just a one time event. Notice also it is the truth that you KNOW, which means we have to discipline ourselves to learn from what we read. Reading is important, that is the beginning….but we need to meditate and study to allow the LOGOS to become RHEMA in us. As we put the Word of God FIRST PLACE (not just when it is convenient) in our lives, and allow it to be the FINAL AUTHORITY. Then, as we do the Word, we will begin to experience true freedom in Christ Jesus. Can I get an Amen?
