Remember when we looked at the basic principles of faith for receiving the promises that Abraham did? 1. Abraham had the promise of God regarding the matter. 2. He believed the promise through his words and actions. 3. He did not consider the problem. 4. He gave glory to God before he physically saw the answer. If we follow these four basic principles of faith, the promises will be made sure to us. Let’ look at Proverbs 4:20-22: “My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.”
Attend to the Word of God, (read it, listen to it, pay attention to it, give it first place and act like it is so). As we keep His Word before us and at the center our our heart we will become FULLY PERSUADED as Abraham was and God’s promises will bring life to us and health to our flesh!
