The devil may assault your mind by repeatedly telling you that you are a failure. However, as long as you resist those demonic allegations, they will not be able to exert any power over your life. But, on the other hand if you begin to give these lies credence or place in your thinking, you will begin to perceive them as actual truth. Then those lies will begin to control you and to dominate your emotions and your thinking.
