John 8:31-32, “Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed. And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” This of course is July 4th, the day in USA when we celebrate our independence. Jesus is saying that true freedom comes from not just reading the Word or studying the Word, but KNOWING the Word with the same kind of knowledge that a husband and wife share in intimacy. Freedom from sin, freedom from the curse, free from all the hindrances of life. WHOM THE SON SETS FREE IS FREE INDEED!
