Faith gives us the confident assurance of that for which we hope and is the proof of the reality of the things we do not see or perceive with the five senses. In other words, faith brings the unrealities of hope into the realm of reality. Faith gives SUBSTANCE (tangibility) to hope. It is the EVIDENCE of the unseen. Can’t have evidence of something that doesn’t exist. Faith is a conviction based upon hearing the Word of God. God’s Word is the source of faith (the God kind).
