God is a covenant-keeping God. Remember that God’s covenant with Abraham was an EVERLASTING covenant. Not a “unless I change My mind” covenant. God means what He says and says what He means. Abraham knew about covenants. The people in his day practiced them. Abraham knew Who he was in covenant with…ALMIGHTY GOD! We need to recognize that we are in covenant with ALMIGHTY GOD and learn to walk in it.
