The reason we need to CONFESS Jesus as Lord over our lives is obvious. We’ve been the servants and the subjects as well as the children of satan, the enemy of God. We have belonged to the kingdom of the devil. Now we want to leave that kingdom and become “naturalized citizens” of GOD’S KINGDOM. But before we can do this, we must swear allegiance to the new fatherland, so to speak.
