James 1:14-17, “But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.” Temptations, tests and trials come to all of us. The Greek word used for “lust” means that we all have desires, cravings, longings, and desires for what is forbidden. That is why Jesus said to make “disciples” out of us, someone who is disciplining themselves against these temptations. You resist and they flee!
